Lisa Kops-Wendel

Lisa Kops-Wendel, President of Wendel Financial Group, Registered Principal, Investment Advisor Representative and Limited Partner with United Planners, has an extensive financial background. With more than 30 years of international money and banking experience, 17 of them as an Independent Financial Advisor, specializing in finance, wealth accumulation and retirement/college planning. Lisa entered the investment business in 1999, after a successful career in corporate America, formerly a Senior Vice President of MasterCard.  Due to Lisa’s strong dedication to her clients, she was named among Waterstone Financial Group’s Top Producers in the years 2006 & 2009. Since joining United Planners, Lisa has received consecutive yearly awards (2009-present) honoring her outstanding personal service to her clients. Additionally, Lisa was voted a member of the Partner Advisory Team serving the Limited Partners of United Planners.

Lisa holds an MBA from l'Ecole Superieure de Commerce, as the first ever American to graduate from this elite international business school. Lisa received her BA in Economics from Rutgers University and holds her FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 licenses. She is also an AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) and licensed for insurance in NY, NJ, and CT. Lisa is fluent in French, with working knowledge of Spanish, Italian, and German; having lived or worked in more than 9 countries. She enjoys adventure travel, sports, and volunteering her free time via educational and community service activities while spending quality time with her husband Robert, and her adult twin boys.
